To sign up, please go to the Support Groups page

These teal tabs each have a form to fill out to sign up to the groups relevant to that ‘I am…’ statement. You can attend more than one group if you like, and you can join any of them. You might want to join a group for people with different experiences from you. The groups for BDD or BFRB are also good options because it’s important we know about how they feel and their impact just as much as we do about OCD.

Signing up to a group through the website adds you to the email list for that group. Before each session (usually fortnightly), you will receive an email inviting you to join. To sign up for the upcoming session, fill out the form that you will find in the email. Please make sure to select the correct group out of the options. If you do not do this you will not be sent the link to join the group.

After you’ve attended a support group session, you can take yourself off the email list by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ in the invitation email.

Please let us know which group/s you attended and what you have learned / what your experience was. If you would like to keep attending a group that is for your experience, please let us know so we can talk to you about confidentiality for this.

The groups manager, Keira, is aware that you will be joining and has your names and email addresses so she can look out for your sign-ups. If you want to join the group using a different name or email from what you have given us, please make sure to let us know.

In the group, feel free to identify yourself as a helpline volunteer and ask questions. The groups are used to having different volunteers joining as part of their training, and tend to be very open and welcoming.
